TREE house labyrinth

During the summer of 2014, the first full-sized, permanent, 11-circuit Chartres design labyrinth was built on the land at Tree House.
The land was levelled ready, and there were many working parties for anyone wishing to be involved with the build in any way - the making of tea, or capturing the progress on camera was equally as important as wielding a spade or wheel-barrow.
All were welcome and I am so grateful to all who came.

There are photos below. And a blog about the building of the labyrinth is here:   http://cornwalllabyrinth.blogspot.co.uk/2014/07/the-story-begins.html

In April 2014, we made a temporary Chartres labyrinth on the beach at Mawgan Porth, Cornwall, and this is a short video of the event. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aJXvVRvJrao  If you would like one made on a beach near you, please do contact me on the email below.

Please email [email protected] to be put on the mailing list and kept up-to-date with retreats, workshops, and walks.

The labyrinth on 5th July 2014 - more stones are needed to fill in the gaps, but there are plenty in the stony soil of Cornwall! Here you see the important tools called tea and water; it was hot and dusty work!

And here is the same view as the first photo, 10 months on in January 2015.
